Appellation: Bordeaux Blanc Sec
Production: 30.000 bottles
Surface: 15 ha
Soil: sandy gravel for 80% of the surface and clay gravel for the remainder
Subsoils: translucent sands, pure gravel crossed through with red clay and limestone marls, fossilised oyster bed and red and white clay
Vines varieties and pruning: sauvignon (70%) pruning with long branches and sémillon (30%) pruning à cots
Density of plantation: 6660 vines/ha
Root stock: Riparia, 33 09, 101 14, 161 49
Vines age average: 15 years
Harvest: hand picked, by successive selections through the vines (1 to 2 selections),on ripe and healthy grapes.
Fermentation: is done in new oak barrels that have been barrels previously used for the grand cru and it lasts 2 weeks.
Malolactique: None
Ageing: takes place from 6 to 9 months in barrels, regularly stirring the lees.
